SSB SQUAT WITH ELEVATED HEELS (SAFETY BAR)
COACHING NOTES
1. USE A SQUAT ELEVATION PLATE OR A 2X4 WORKS ALSO
2. DECELERATE THE MOVEMENT INTO THE HOLE, DRIVE KNEES OUT IN THE BOTTOM, THEN EXPLODE BACK OUTTA THE HOLE.
3. USE WEIGHT YOU CAN CONTROL WITH NEAR PERFECT FORM.
4. EXECUTION IS A FORM OF PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD, SO DOING SHIT RIGHT INCREASES IT’S EFFECTIVENESS. DON’T ALWAYS LOOK TO ADD MORE WEIGHT AS IT’S NOT THE ONLY WAY TO ADD DIFFICULTY.
